Deutsch: Das für das Priestergrab auf dem Friedhof in Widnau von Albert Wider geschaffene Relief stellt die Aussendung der Apostel, den Missionsauftrag dar. Jesus Christus im Gestus des Auferstandenen erklärte seinen Jüngern: «Mir wurde alle Gewalt im Himmel und auf Erden übertragen. Gehet hin und machet alle Völker zu meinen Jüngern.» (nach Mt 28:18-19).
English: The relief created by Albert Wider for the priests' grave in the cemetery in Widnau depicts the sending out of the apostles, the Great Commission. Jesus Christ, in the gesture of the Risen One, declared to his disciples: «All authority in heaven and on earth has been transferred to me. Go and make disciples of all nations.» (according to Mt 28:18-19)
Français : Le relief réalisé par Albert Wider pour la tombe des prêtres au cimetière de Widnau représente l'envoi des apôtres, le mandat missionnaire.
