Summary

[edit]
Description
English: A kitchen of the Alaska Railroad during the 1950s. This came from an advertisement titled "WE'RE BUILDING ALASKA", geared towards graduates of Lathrop High School who may have been contemplating a career with the railroad. The posture of the two men pictured and the dimensions of the space would lead me to believe that the photo was taken onboard a train, but that wasn't specified. The caption simply stated "Food's Important to Railroaders".
