English: Alan Benning retirement bench at Spade Oak The inscription on the bench is "Alan Benning on 50 years service - Happy retirement from all at Lafarge". Seeing this I thought it a marvellous retirement present. Lafarge are the owners of the gravel pit, which is now a nature reserve. |
