[edit]DescriptionAl-Qasemi College2.jpg | US Ambassador Dan Shapiro and his wife Mrs. Julie Fisher visited Al Qasemi Academy in Baka Al Gharbiya accompanied by the Public Affairs Counselor Hilary Olsin-Windecker and the Cultural Attaché Michele Dastin-vaj Rijn on November 1, 2011 . The Ambassador met with the Academy’s President Dr. Mohammad Essawi and his deputy Dr. Dalia Fadila. The visit included a tour of the Academy’s different departments, including the Educational Children Center, Computer Science, and the Library which holds ancient scriptures and Holy Quraans from Iran and Afghanistan. The Ambassador also met with faculty members and students, including Alumni of the USG MEPI Students Leaders Exchange program, who shared their exciting experience in the US. The tour ended with an interview at the Academy’s student radio station where he also extended his greetings for the upcoming Eid Aldha to all the Arab Muslim community in Israel. |
