Ain Dara temple lion

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: From the English Wikipedia I understand an “emblematic lion was stolen in December 2019 by members of the al-Hamzat militia.” In the German Wikipedia I read the statue is from the 11th century and was erected here in the 1990's. And I was informed it is a recent find by a Japanese expedition.
