Nederlands: De Nederlandse F-16’s van de Air Task Force (ATF) in Mazar-e-Sharif vlogen gisteren hun laatste operationele vlucht over Afghanistan. Bijna 12 jaar ondersteunden de jachtvliegtuigen grondtroepen van de International Security Assistance Force (ISAF). “We hebben met elkaar een belangrijke bijdrage geleverd aan een veiliger Afghanistan en ervoor gezorgd dat the boots on the ground hun taken goed konden uitvoeren”, aldus Commandant Luchtstrijdkrachten luitenant-generaal Alexander Schnitger op het Afghaanse vliegveld. |
