Description
English: A UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter, from 5th Battalion, 158th Aviation Regiment is loaded with simulated patients, a role player with a wound climbs aboard as a dog handler carries his working dog with simulated broken leg towards the helicopter in the General Staufer Kaserne, Pfullendorf, Dinohausen Training Area waiting for a simulated casualty to be loaded for evacuation Feb. 19, 2014 during the International Special Training Center, ISTC, Advanced Medical First Responder Course which was conducted by the ISTC Medical Branch from Feb. 3, 2014 through Feb. 21, 2014. The multinational students from Denmark, Greece, Norway, Italy, Latvia, and the Netherlands receive the training to enhance their medical skills to support NATO soldiers, sailors, and airmen and treat and stabilize combat trauma casualties using SOF oriented medical procedures and skills.
