Description A simulated casualty is stabilized during the International Special Training Center Advanced Medical First Responder Course, conducted by the ISTC Medical Branch, Feb. 17-19, 2015 in Pfullendorf, Germany. The students from the U.S. and European allies received the training to enhance their medical skills to support NATO Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen and treat combat trauma casualties using special forces-oriented medical procedures and skills. The ISTC provides centralized training for NATO special forces and similar units in Europe. The center is run by a cadre of instructors from nine member nations-Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Turkey and the U.S. (U.S. Army photo by Visual Information Specialist Jason Johnston/Released)
