Nederlands: Dit is de foto waarmee in 1979 de maan van Jupiter Adrastea ontdekt werd.
De foto is een poging van me om eens een ruwe foto van een ruimtesonde tot een toonbaar geheel te bewerken. De originele foto is op te vragen door op http://ringmaster.arc.nasa.gov/catalog/vgriss.html in de vakjes voor FDS-count 20630.5 tot 20630.6 in te typen. Het gatenpatroon heb ik vakkundig verwijderd en de aanwijzing toegevoegd. Adrastea is slechts zichtbaar als een klein stipje. Eind jaren 90 fotograveerde de Galileo een iets groter stipje en tot op de dag van vandaag weten we niet hoe de maan eruit ziet. |
