English: From a print. It depicts a vision of the Breton preacher and theologian Alan of the Rock. Alan is seen kneeling in adoration before Jesus and Mary. He holds the banner of the Confraternity of the Holy Rosary, which he restored. Mary presents to him a wedding ring, symbolizing mystical marriage between the Virgin and Alan.
Nederlands: Van een prent. Het is een visioen van de Bretonse prediker en theoloog Alan van de Rots. Alan zit geknield in aanbidding voor Jezus en Maria en houdt het vaandel van de Broederschap van de Heilige Rozenkrans vast, dat hij heeft gerestaureerd. Maria overhandigt hem een trouwring, die het mystieke huwelijk tussen de Maagd en Alan symboliseert.
