Description
English: Keystone of the portal of a mine transport gallery in Niederhäslich (Freital) of the Segen-Gottes-Schacht Burgk (Freital); i.e. „Blessing-of-the-Lord-Mine”. The 317 m long gallery was initally required for conveying the refuse of the underground colliery and later on for channelling water to water works and a steam engine. Built 1856—1858; restored and secured in 2001.
Deutsch: Schlußstein des Portals der Rösche des Segen-Gottes-Schachtes in Niederhäslich (Freital). Erbaut 1856—1858, Länge 317 m. Der Stollen diente dem Schacht der Burgker Steinkohlenwerke ursprünglich zum Abtransport von Bergen (taubem Gestein). Später wurde er zur Heranführung von Wasser, unter anderem für eine Dampfmaschine benötigt. Die Stollenanlage wurde 2001 restauriert, zugänglich gemacht und verwahrt.
