Description
Deutsch: Zu den frühesten Kindheitserinnerungen von Adi Holzer gehört der Jahrmarkt der Stadt Stockerau. Dort stand er als Kind staunend vor dem Elefanten, der aus seiner Perspektive riesig anzusehen war. Der Elefant wurde später zu einem Thema seines Kunstschaffens. Seit Dezember 2005 schuf er in Murano bei Venedig in Zusammenarbeit mit Adriano Berengo und mit dessen hochqualifizierten Glasbläsern Glasskulpturen. Dort entstand im Jahr 2011 diese Glasskulptur von einer Elefantin mit ihrem Embryo. Durch verschiedenfarbiges Glas gewinnt die durchsichtige Elefantin ein faszinierendes Aussehen.
