[Der Text ist eine Mischung aus lateinischer Kursive und deutscher Kurrentschrift, teilweise im Wort. Was eher Kurrent ist, ist gerade gesetzt, was eher lateinische Kursive ist, ist kursiv gesetzt.
Der franz. Name und "dem" ist in lat.K.; das kleine "d" ist fast immer in lat.K.; "ausgezeichneten" ist in Kurrent, vor allem durch das "h" und das eckige "e" erkennbar; "Gelehrten" ist lat.K.; am "u" von und ist der typische Kurrentstrich, das "d" ist lat.K.; "liebvenswürdigen" ist wieder komplett Kurrentschrift: strichartige "e", das "s" mit der Schleife oben; "Menschen" ist in lat.K., erkennbar durch das "s" und das "h" und das "e" mit Schleife; "zur" ist Kurrent; freundlichen ist wieder eindeutig lat. K. mit Kurrent-"u"-Strich, erkennbar durch das Schleifen-"e", das "d" und das eindeutige "h"; Erinnerung ist ebenfalls eher lat.K. mit Kurrent-"u"-Strich. Die Unterschrift ist lat.K. vor allem durch das "h" in Johann. Das lange s in Strauſs ist fast spitz, kurrentartig, aber das runde s danach ist eindeutig lat.K. Wien hat ein eher lat.K.-"W", das "e" ist kurrentartig fast wie das "n"]
