Description

Construída no século XIX, foi restaurada em 1923 pelo arquiteto Suíço, Ernesto Korrodi, tendo sido a residência da família Soares Franco até 1974. Com uma fachada e jardins de beleza muito especiais, tem estado desde sempre associada à imagem da José Maria da Fonseca.

O percurso pela Casa-Museu inicia-se com uma breve explicação sobre a história da empresa, seguindo-se a visita às antigas adegas: a Adega da Mata e a Adega dos Teares Novos, onde estagia, entre outros, o vinho Periquita, e a Adega dos Teares Velhos, onde repousam os mais antigos Moscatéis de Setúbal, alguns dos quais autênticas relíquias com mais de 100 anos. No final, o visitante terá a possibilidade de conhecer e provar alguns dos vinhos produzidos pela José Maria da Fonseca.
