Acorn strap mount.
Description
English: medieval copper alloy belt mount with traces of gilding on the upper surface. Acorn shaped, with cross-hatching on the "cup", and with a single integral spike on the reverse, towards the upper end. The lower end is broken off. 14th-15th century. Length 17.68mm, width 13.16mm, thickness 4.55mm, weight 1.48g.
