Description About two miles north-northeast of Cuchillo, between the Black Range and the Rio Grande, 16091 2TRT, 33.2723 -107.3375, Sierra County, New Mexico, 14 Feb 2013. Creosote shrubland (most creosote killed by tebuthiuron) with scattered microplayettes dominated primarily by sideoats grama and purple threeawn; also with Rhus microphylla, Acourtia nana, Gutierrezia microcephala, Gutierrezia sarothrae, Laënnecia coulteri, Parthenium incanum, Lappula occidentalis, Streptanthus carinatus, Cylindropuntia leptocaulis, Opuntia macrocentra, Hoffmannseggia glauca, Sphaeralcea, Aristida purpurea, Bouteloua curtipendula, Muhlenbergia porteri, Pleuraphis mutica, Scleropogon brevifolius, Sporobolus contractus, Lycium, Larrea tridentata, etc.
