Description
Deutsch: Das Sperrwerk wurde nach der verheerenden Sturmflut 1962 geplant und erbaut. Gleiches gilt für das Schwingesperrwerk und den neuen Elbdeich, der das ehemalige Außendeichsgelände mit dem neuen Industrieareal umfasst und deutlich höher erstellt wird als der Alte Landesschutzdeich, der 1962 den Fluten nicht standhielt.
