Die etwa kniehohen, verblühten Pflanzen auf den Bahnsteigen, im Gleisbett und auch im Vordergrund sind Rosmarin-Weidenröschen (Epilobium dodonaei) (auch: Chamaenerion dodonaei, Chamerion dodonaei). Die Pflanze ist im Raum München an Bahnanlagen, Baustellen, Kiesgruben und anderen Kies-/Schotter-Standorten häufig.
Verbreitungskarte für Bayern und weitere Hinweise: bayernflora.de.
Die Bäume auf den Bahnsteigen sind vor allem Birken; unter der Bahnsteigkante auch Ahorn-Jungwuchs.
English: An old Trainstation in central Munich which was built in the 1970`s for the Olympic Games in Munich. The Station was closed in 1988 after an accident where playing kids climbed onto a standing train and touched the high voltage power line. The station also suffered from rarely beeing used and at the same point high costs. Since 1988 this railway expanding in an area over 6.7 hektar has been left to mother nature who has made great use of it.
