| Description |
English: Framed by the white snow-covered branches of trees in the foreground, the AULA building in Aarhus University, on the edge of Uniparken – the university park. This ivy-covered, yellow-brick building is listed. It was designed by C. F. Møller Architects in the 1930s. Below a cloudless blue winter sky, we can see its iconic several-storeys-high sundial and solstice clock on the gable wall and a row of ivy-covered arches. The park’s grass amphitheatre between us and the building is covered in thick snow. The highest gable wall in the building draws the eye because it is a gigantic geometric window with rectangular and square panes in alternating shades of light and dark blues.
