| Description |
English: A view of the Afan Valley A view of a central part of the valley from a bridleway on the northwestern slopes of Foel Trawsnant.
Some of Afan Forest Park is seen on the north side of the valley, covering the slopes of Mynydd Nant-y-bar. Features visible here include - in the middle and right hand side of the photograph - the steep wooded hillside Craig Nant-y-bar and - just to the right of this - a small valley around the (unseen) stream Nantrhiwgregen. Both of these features lie chiefly in grid square SS8396. |
