Title
A very worn penny of Edward III
Description
English: A complete and very worn silver penny of Edward III, 1327-1377.

The obverse depicts a forward facing crowned bust. The legend reads EDWARDVS.REX....

The reverse depicts a long cross with three pellets in each quarter although the coin appears to have struck badly as there are more pellets in some quarters. There may also be a quatrefoil in the centre although due to the coin being struck badly it is hard to tell. The legend reads CIVI/TAS/EBO/RACI.
