Description
English: Baradi Loknath Babar Ashram is built based on Baba Loknath Brahmachari, a saint and Hindu religion’s spiritual philosopher in Bengal. The Ashram is in Baradi, Sonargaon Upazila in Narayanganj District under Dhaka Division, Bangladesh. There is a Durga Mondop and a pond in this area. The Tomb of Baba is in this temple. Main festivals day is celebrated in December every year. Baba Loknath was born on 31 August 1730. He has lot of followers and devotees around the world. He has travelled many pilgrimages on foot of Persia, Arabia and Israel, Mecca. They believe at the age of 160, 1890 Baba Loknath took his Samadhi (Left his life means died). It is a holy place for Bengali Hindu pilgrimages. Hundreds of Thousands Hindu pilgrimages going there every year for their worship. They light thousands of candles to purify their spiritual life. And this traditional festival begins with the blowing of horns.
