English: A page ripped out from The Economist by China's censorship department. Photoed in Liaoning Provincial Library. Foreign publications like The Economist are mostly imported by only a handful of state-owned companies, and they will censor unwanted contents by using ink, tape, or just rip the whole page off when importing and clearing customs. The content was page 28, on June 1st, 2019 issue of The Economist. The content was about the 1989 Tiananmen Square Protests.
中文：一页被中国审查部门被撕去的《经济学人》杂志。摄于辽宁省图书馆。诸如《经济学人》这样的境外出版物一般只允许被几家国营企业进口，进口和清关时会用油墨涂抹、胶带粘贴，或者干脆直接整页撕掉某些内容。被撕掉的内容是2019年6月1日号《经济学人》的第28页。其被撕去的内容是有关八九学运（六四事件）的。 |
