Alcéndese a fogueira con faíscas Y-o punto una tremenda labarada cinteleando chispas, salta e rube e triscando se espalla Viva, Viva! ... din todos á porfía Brincando por encima da fogueira uns detras dos outros sin cuidar qu'o lume lles queimase as pernas .... Quen pode esquencer de vello os seus tempos de rapás quen pode esquencer a noite a noitiña de San Xuan C'o seu sequito de bruxas fogueiras, baños de mar, augas de rosas, parrandas, troulas, bailes e ainda máis? Si hasta vellos como somos ós fogos ímos brincar!
