Summary
[edit]DescriptionA line up of square bales, Kinaldie - geograph.org.uk - 1509568.jpg |
English: A line up of square bales, Kinaldie "Square" bales, which are of course square in cross section. The modern ones are huge and manipulated by machine unlike the man hauled traditional bales which were much smaller. Sometimes the small bales came out of the baler shortened, even as cubes. These were highly prized for filling out awkward gaps in the stack back at the farm, a game of 3D tetris. |
