Summary

[edit]
Description This is the White Horse on Hackpen Hill near Broad Hinton. It is one of the nine canonical Wiltshire White Horses and was cut into the chalk hillside around 1838 (it is thought to have been cut by the parish clerk and a local pub landlord to commemorate the coronation of Queen Victoria in that year).
