Description
English: Group portrait of men standing on top of a wharf. One of the men is holding up a glass bottle. Two of the men are each holding an object. One of the men is wearing a striped jacket, and he also has a cigarette hanging out of his mouth. There is a corrugated building, shed, to the right hand side of the image. There are pile of logs loosely arranged in front of the people, and shed. There are also a pile of sacks across the wharf. "Bilston Basic Slag" is written on them. There is also a pile of round objects, possibly tyres. There is a case, and a sheet of loose corrugated iron on the grass, nearby a pool of water, partially visible to the right hand side of the image. There are many trees in the background.
