| Description |
English: A field of clover on Clan Down Clover is not there to look pretty. Farmers do not go in for pretty, they have other things to do.
The clover is soon to be ploughed in ready for next year's cereal crop. It fixes nitrogen from the atmosphere fertilising the soil and generally improving its condition. |
