Description
English: Fleuron from book:
A compleat and easy French grammar, in a method entirely new; which contains, all the parts of speech explain'd. The Way of conjugating Verbs affirmatively and interrogatively, without and with a Negation. The Formation of Regular Verbs, whereby it is plainly shewn, that after understanding the Formation of Verbs of the first Conjugation, one needs only in all the rest learn three Tenses and the Participle Passive. The Manner of placing, the Personal Pronouns, and the various Significations of the relative Articles en and y (which are the greatest Intricacies of the French, and most puzzling to Strangers) more clearly explain'd than in any French and English Grammar. A Table of Ireegular Verbs never before Publish'd, To which there is prefix'd a plain and full Pronunciation; and at the End thereof a Methodical Syntax, a Vocabulary, and Set of Dialogues. By T.B. Gent.
