Description
English: A WWII pillbox. This WW2 type FW3/22 pillbox is situated right beside the railway line northwest of Haddiscoe station. It used to form part of the Eastern Command: II Corps Demolition Belt FIII that started at Oulton Broad and ran into the Waveney, as far as up to Norwich along the River Yare. Only five bridges were prepared for demolition. The pillbox is documented in the Defence of Britain database and has the site reference number S0002129.
