Description

I thought this looked fabulous with the fern and the random bit of plantlife on my back path... I literally spent ages perfecting this shot, because when it comes to photographing my own cars, I have all the time I need and can get it to my exacting specifications. That might sound a little obsessive, but when it comes to these die-cast vehicles, I have an idea of how I want it to look, and I configure the location to that.

This has to be one of Matchbox's best-ever castings - it looks correct and the interior is well represented for such a small car. But the biggest disappointment - and this goes for the rest of the current Matchbox range as well - is that the front and rear lights are crudely painted on instead of actual plastic fitments like Matchbox used to do.

Nonetheless, a fantastic opportunity came up for a photo here and I took it...
