Description
English: This street was not in South America, but in Funchal, in front of Convento de São Francisco (today's Avenida Arriaga). The Sé do Funchal can be seen in the center behind the trees, and palácio de São Lourenço to the right. At the extreme right there is the old Mercado de São João, and at the extreme left the ruins of Convento de São Francisco.
