Title
A Real Circus
Description
Uncle Sam surveys the Republican National Convention circus poster; which will take place on June 21. The Democratic donkey informs him of the really exciting event will be the Democratic Circus ('Two rings - Free for all - Go as you please'). The caption reads "The Dem. Donkey - Don't waste your time on a tame show like that, uncle. For a real rousing old rumpus wait for July 6." While the Republican convention was earlier, it was also obvious who the nominee would be. The Democratic convention looked to be more exciting.
