Description

Pipits are a very common sight in the countryside here. However, identifying the 4-5 types of pipits is very hard as the differences are incredibly subtle. This is a rare Tawny pipit that I sighted during a trip to another state couple of weeks ago. The bird has a similar behavior to that of the very common Paddyfield pipit, but I took the shot since it looked a bit different. Its a bit more brighter and livelier than the common bird and my hunch turned out to be right.

Thanks in advance for your views and feedback. Much appreciated.
