English: A Post Medieval copper alloy posy finger-ring (late 17th century). The finger ring has a D-shaped cross-section and is constructed from a strip of copper alloy curved to form a ring and then the ends soldered together. ‘LOVE’ is engraved on the internal surface, there is no decoration on the external surface. Dimensions: Diameter: 20.04mm; width: 4.03mm; thickness: 1.71mm; weight: 2.38g.
