English: A Post Medieval copper alloy posy finger-ring (late 17th century). The finger ring has a D-shaped cross-section and is constructed from a strip of copper alloy curved to form a ring and then the ends soldered together. ‘LOVE’ is engraved on the internal surface, there is no decoration on the external surface.
