A Post Medieval Button
Description
English: An incomplete copper alloy button dating to the Post Medieval period (c. AD 1600-1700). The face of the button is domed with a raised central pellet around which is a circular groove. Subsequent to this is a ring of six raised triangles pointing inwards, with recesses between. The reverse of the button is undecorated with a centrally placed, incomplete loop. 

The overall dimensions are as follows: 17.7mm in diameter, 9.3mm in thickness and 6.3g in weight.
