Description
English: A Post-Medieval lead alloy button dating 16th to early 17th century. The button is circular with a convex face and back. The button has an integral shank leading to two incomplete loops (forming an m shape), the end of one of the loops is broken and missing. The shank is irregular for most buttons, which often only have a single loop (Margeson, 1993, 20; Read 2005: 69).

Dimensions: diameter: 11.54 mm; weight: 3.93 g.
