Description A Monarch butterfly (Danaus plexippus) in our exhibit at the Seney Visitor Center emerged from its cocoon! After about ten days in the cocoon, its metamorphosis is complete. Slowly beating its wings to dry them, the Monarch prepares to go out into the world!
