A Modern Military Button
Description
English: A circular gilded copper-alloy military button. Convex front bears a central inscription of number '14' above letter 'M', surrounded by the inscription ROYAL SOUTH LINCOLN. The concave rear surface has a central broken stump and fastener is missing. The rear also has encrusted inscription with the most visible being MIN & WEST. Diameter 21mm, weight 4g. Royal South Lincoln Archives are dated from 1757 to 1874.
