Title |
A Mesolithic to Neolithic Flint Notched and Retouched Flake |
||
Description |
English: A Retouched and Notched Flint Flake. The translucent grey flint is almost completely covered with an opaque white patina. The dorsal face is plain but the ventral face has been retouched and notched on the right edge that exposes the translucent flint and suggests it was retouched at a later date. The bulb of percussion on the ventral face is very prominent. The length is 24.3mm, the width is 39.6mm and the weight is 5.37g. |
