English: A Medieval copper alloy circular mount or button with an eight-armed wavy star-type design and raised border. The mount is greenish-brown in colour. Parallels, dating to between 1350 and 1450, can be found in Egan, G. and Pritchard, F. (eds.), 1991. Dress Accessories c1150-c1450. Medieval Finds from Excavations in London: 3. London: The Stationery Office. Pages 172-173; No.850, No.855.
