Description |
English: A Medieval to Post-Medieval cast copper-alloy mount in the form of an acorn. The design on the obverse is moulded and the cup is decorated with a raised line, below which are raised circular marks; above the cup are three raised irregularly spaced lines. The reverse features two rivets. The mount is greenish-brown in colour.

Langport: Portcullis Publishing. Page 29, Figs.331-334, illustrated on Page 37, Fig.22, Nos.331-334. These examples are stylistically different, however, the form is similar. |
