Description |
English: A Medieval incomplete ceramic glazed floor tile (1350s-1390s). The tile is decorated with a two-tone pattern in white slip against a red background. The pattern comprises a central flower motif with five petals with a circular border. In each corner there is another five petalled flower within a semi-circular border; this border is broken and the broken spur protrudes in the central circular border. Traces of glaze remain. Some of the tile and the pattern are missing.
