Summary

[edit]
Description

One of the most common harriers seen these days along with Pallid Harrier. They frequent areas around water hunting small reptiles like Snakes, frogs, monitor lizards and water birds. Here it was flying over us near a very small lake that had no life near it. This year, the harrier population is comparatively less due to weather changes and overflowing lakes which resulted in few water birds unlike earlier years when we could sight 1000's of them.

Thanks in advance for your views and feedback. Much appreciated.
