American Zettler type AZ7 small-signal relay

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: American Zettler type AZ7 small-signal relay removed from the Revox B215 cassette deck. 24V, 2kOhm monostable coil. From various pics on the Internet I reckon that this is the factory original. However, it is not what's listed in the service manual. Without the relay, and without the muting transistors at the line output (all are driven by the same control line) the deck is fully operational. There is a noticeable but fairly tolerable thump at turn-on and turn-off, and no ill effects of any kind during play-stop-ff-rewind changeovers.
