Description	Français : Titre : Hué, 1928 – Un médecin mandarin de Cour (2) Notice : (Voir AP0001) ” Dans les premières années de son règne (1802), l’empereur Gia Long avait réglé les charges des médecins du palais. Le service des fonctionnaires de ce groupe fut étendu à l’occasion d’ordonnances, celles de 1814 et 1815 entre autres. L’oeuvre de Gia Long intéressant ces médecins fut complétée et disciplinée par l’empereur Minh Mang, son successeur. Il fixa les bases d’un véritable collège de médecins royaux, augmenta le nombre des praticiens chargés du soin des santés du souverain et de la cour et il releva leurs titres et leurs privilèges. Ce collège médical fut le “Thai Y Vien”, qui a fonctionné dans l’ombre durant près d’un siècle et prolonge actuellement une existence amoindrie à service bien diminué, presque nul. “ (Extrait de “l’Officine sino-annamite en Annam” – Albert Sallet – 1931 – Editions G.
