English: Collectie Nederlands Instituut voor Militaire Historie:

Duitsland, Hermeskeil; 14FEB2002©Hennie Keeris In het Duitse Moezelgebied kregen toekomstige luchtmobiele soldaten het zwaar te verduren tijdens de laatste oefenweek van Fearless Falcon. De eindoefening voor het behalen van de rode baret werd voor de vijftigste keer gehouden. Tevens is het de laatste keer dat de oefening in Duitsland plaatsvindt. Deze jubileumeditie werd gekenmerkt door zeer slecht weer met onophoudelijke regenval.

FOTO: op een ge-improviseerde brancard moest een collega naar boven worden gesjouwd over een steil weg tussen de wijnranken aan de Moezel.
