Haven van Trinquenemale.

Het fort Frederick of Trincomale werd in 1639 door de VOC veroverd en in 1643 verwoest. In 1660 werd op dezelfde plek een nieuw fort opgebouwd. Het is niet zeker welk van de twee hier is afgebeeld.

Haven van Trinquemale.

Frederick or Trincomale fort was captured by the VOC in 1639 and destroyed in 1643. In 1660 a new fort was built. It is not clear which one is depicted here.
