English: Members of the African Land Forces Colloquium (ALFC) observed a simulated attack on a town held by North Macedonian Soldiers playing the OpFor during Saber Junction 22 in Hohenfels, Germany, Sep. 15, 2022. ALFC 22 brings together African Land Force Commanders from multiple nations, along with select U.S. Army and Allied and partner army leaders, to 7th Army Training Command’s Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels training areas to address land force security challenges and opportunities. Saber Junction 22 is a multinational rotational exercise designed to assess the readiness of the U.S. Army’s 173rd Airborne Brigade to execute unified land operations in a joint, combined environment and to promote interoperability with more than 4,500 participants from the U.S. and Allied and partner nations at the U.S. Army’s Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels training areas.
