Description Rear view of the AHSNT workshop in Gardens Hill Crescent, Stuart Park during its roof recovering. This building was part of the Navy victualling yards in WWII and was having the asbestos roof replaced. Unfortunately the contractor failed to cover the roof following removal of the asbestos sheets and heavy rain at night caused substantial damage to the interior including tools, artifacts, computers and some of the book collection. Instead of weeks it was some months before the Society was able to once again use the building as a workshop.
